Summary

CallYourBesties is designed as a local-first relationship care app. In the current version, your friends, notes, catch-up logs, birthdays, cadence settings, and backups stay on your device.

Information You Add

You may choose to save names, relationship context, birthdays, locations, timezones, notes, catch-up history, and cadence settings. This information is stored locally on your device using app storage.

Data Collection

The current version of CallYourBesties does not create accounts, sync your data to a server, collect analytics, track you across apps or websites, or sell personal information.

Contacts And Notifications

The current version does not request access to your device contacts or notifications. If a future version adds contact import or reminders, those features will ask for permission only when you choose to use them, and this policy will be updated.

Backups

You can manually export a JSON backup from the app. When you export or share that file, you choose where it goes. Please store exported backups somewhere you trust.

Data Deletion

You can delete individual friends and their related notes and logs in the app. You can also remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.
